Review guidelines
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Honest reviews help everyone shop with confidence. These rules apply to every rating, review, photo and video on AnythingKart.
1. Who can review
- Only customers who bought the product and received it can rate or review it. Every review is marked Verified Purchase.
- One review per product per customer. You can edit or delete it at any time from the product page.
- Sellers can be rated once per order, within 90 days of delivery.
2. What we publish
- Star-only ratings appear straight away.
- Reviews with text, photos or a video are checked by our team before they appear, usually within 2 working days.
- Edits made in the first 2 hours after you submit are free. Later edits go back for a quick check.
- We never edit what you wrote, and we never remove a review because it is negative.
3. What is not allowed
- Phone numbers, email addresses, links, addresses or anyone's personal details.
- Abusive, hateful, sexual or threatening language.
- Reviews that are paid for, written in exchange for a discount, or written by the seller, their staff or competitors.
- Content about delivery, price or customer service only — rate the seller for that instead.
- Photos or videos with faces of other people, or that are not of the product.
4. How ratings are calculated
- The star rating is the average of all published ratings. Reviews we strike through as unreliable stay visible but never count.
- Top reviews are ordered by how helpful other customers found them, with newer reviews given more weight.
- Seller ratings show the share of positive (4 and 5 star) ratings over the last 12 months. See How products and sellers are ranked.
5. Reporting a review
- Use Report under any review if it breaks these guidelines. A review reported by several customers goes back to our team for another check.
- Our team may hide a published review that breaks these guidelines, and may add a note from the platform where context helps.
