Dark patterns self-audit

How we check that our website and app do not trick or pressure you.

Last Updated: 23 June 2026 · Owned and operated by Parveen Kumar, doing business as AnythingKart.

Audit pending. Our first self-audit against the Guidelines for Prevention and Regulation of Dark Patterns, 2023 has not been published yet.

What we check

Each audit walks through every pattern the Central Consumer Protection Authority lists:

  • False urgency
  • Basket sneaking
  • Confirm shaming
  • Forced action
  • Subscription trap
  • Interface interference
  • Bait and switch
  • Drip pricing
  • Disguised advertisement
  • Nagging
  • Trick question
  • SaaS billing
  • Rogue malware

An audit is published only when every pattern passes. We repeat it after significant changes to our website or app.
